April 2010
The hospitality industry plays an important role in the commerce of our communities. Whether guest lecturing at a local community college or participating in a Career Day, it is important to volunteer time to education at every level. Dan Kaplan, General Manager at the Westin St. Louis, volunteered for a 5-week Junior Achievement program where he introduced “The Work Environment” to a class of 1st graders. Here is Dan with his students. Who knows, maybe there is a future GM amongst them! |
